DESCRIPTION:House Bill 765\, sponsored by Forsyth County NC House Representative Jeff Zenger\, would severely limit local authority over planning and zoning matters. The bill titled “Save the American Dream Act” would change forever the way municipalities make decisions about the future of their communities. It literally would hand the keys to your neighborhood to developers. Winston-Salem\, The Village of Clemmons\, Lewisville\, and other NC municipalities have all voted on resolutions against this bill.
