We are looking for a Freelance Graphic Designer to Co-Create a Visual Identity Rooted in Joy, Equity, and Community
Thriving Together is on the search for an experienced freelance graphic designer to help shape the visual heart of our movement. As we continue growing a community-led effort rooted in joy, justice, and belonging, we know our visual identity needs to reflect the vibrant community we serve. This is more than a logo—it’s an opportunity to co-create a bold, joyful, and grounded visual identity that helps bring our shared vision to life.
We’re especially excited to connect with designers who call Winston-Salem home and who move through their work with care, artistry, and a deep belief in community power. We’re seeking someone who centers joy, creativity, belonging, and collective storytelling in their practice—someone who understands that visual identity isn’t just aesthetic; it’s a reflection of values, people, and purpose.
We encourage submissions from designers who have worked authentically with Black, Latine, Indigenous, AAPI, LGBTQIA2S+ communities, and other historically marginalized groups, and whose portfolios reflect a sense of vibrancy, warmth, and intentionality.
If this sounds like you—or someone you know—we’d love to connect. This call is open now through June 22, and more details about the opportunity, timeline, and submission process can be found below.
Let’s build something beautiful together.
Is there someone you’d like to recommend?
