We’re glad you’re here.

Thriving Together is a community-driven movement rooted in belonging, justice, and possibility. Together, we are building a Forsyth County where thriving isn’t the exception—it’s the expectation.

All People.

Thriving Together is working to transform our county for generations to come. We envision a Forsyth County where every person has what they need to thrive.

When we say all people, we mean everyone – across race, gender, sexuality, class, age, ability, immigration status, faith, family structure, and geography. Belonging is for all of us.

At the same time, systemic injustices have created unequal barriers for some neighbors. That’s why we intentionally center those most impacted – Black, Latine, and Indigenous communities; LGBTQIA2S+ people; people with disabilities; immigrants and refugees; and others whose voices have too often been excluded.

All people means every single one of us, thriving together.

All Places.

Thriving Together invites you to see yourself here, not as a visitor, but as a steward and neighbor. This land, these streets, these sidewalks – they are all ours together. Every corner of Forsyth County hums with the stories, energy, and creativity of the people who have built, nurtured, and cared for it.

Yet, legacies of redlining, segregation, and disinvestment still shape access to housing, education, health, and opportunity. To move toward equity, we must name these histories, repair harm, and invest in communities long denied resources.

All places means every neighborhood, and landscape thriving together.

Forsyth County has been stewarded for generations by Indigenous peoples. Thriving Together honors the sovereignty of Indigenous nations, and we recognize their lands and waters as sacred. We invite you to explore Native Land Digital to learn more about the Indigenous lands you live and work on.

No Exceptions.

When we say all people, all places, no exceptions, we mean it. Thriving is not for some; it’s for every one of us.

“No exceptions” is both a promise and a shared responsibility: it means refusing to leave anyone behind, even when systems have long done so. Every child, elder, family, worker, and neighbor in Forsyth County deserves to be seen, valued, and supported. True thriving requires confronting entrenched inequities and building systems of care, belonging, and justice that reach across every identity, neighborhood, and generation.

No exceptions means everyone, everywhere, thriving together.
