About

What is Thriving Together?

Forsyth County has always shown its capacity to come together to organize, care, resist, build, and spark change. Thriving Together carries forward that legacy with a bold, people-powered commitment: the future must be imagined and led by the community.

Our work begins with hope—a belief that another world is possible, and a determination to act to make it real. By stepping forward together, strengthening belonging, aligning resources, and building lasting civic infrastructure, we expand the possibilities for thriving across every neighborhood, for every person, and for generations to come.

Rooted in hope and our shared humanity, Thriving Together connects people, partnerships, and resources to cultivate the conditions where communities thrive and justice grows.

Our Collaborative Roots

Movements like Thriving Together thrive when neighbors, partners, and organizations come together to build a just, thriving community. Our backbone team helps connect, coordinate, and sustain the work—not to lead it, but to steward it—keeping people power at the center. We handle planning, facilitation, communications, operations, data, research, and the countless details that keep collaboration flowing, while staying accountable to the community and the shared vision.

We’re learning and growing alongside you.
