Good Trouble Lives On: A Day of Nonviolent Action

July 17 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

On July 17, the anniversary of Congressman John Lewis’s passing, we join people across the country to defend our democracy and carry forward his legacy of Good Trouble.

As the Trump administration and its allies escalate attacks on civil rights—from voter suppression laws like the SAVE Act to the criminalization of protest—we rise to say NO. We are the people. And in America, the power still lies with us.

This day is more than a protest—it’s a moral reckoning. A tribute to the life and fight of John Lewis. A bold step forward in our ongoing movement for justice, dignity, and democracy.

Join Camel City United Indivisible North Carolina and Democracy NC for a decisive, peaceful action rooted in nonviolence, unity, and purpose.
